# Request statuses

Here are a list of statuses you can set a request to:

* **Open -** Indicates that submissions are still being accepted.
* **Closed** - Indicates that you are no longer accepting submissions for this request.
* **Expired** - If a due date is set, the status of the request will become expired. However, this does not prevent taskers from submitting new datasets.
* **Paused -** Indicates that you are no longer vetting submissions at the moment. Taskers should not expect their existing submissions to be purchased until the pause is lifted.
* **Cancelled -** Indicates the request has been cancelled, and is no longer accepting submissions. Taskers should not expect their existing submissions to be purchased.
